Find A Home For Your Dog
(Other Than Shelties!)

Sheltie Rescue of Utah recognizes that many good dog owners sometimes end up in situations where they need to find a great, loving home for their dog. We can help you. While our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place Shelties, we want to do more for the pet community at large.

If you need to find a home for your dog of any breed (other than Shelties and Collies) we will help you for a small donation of $25.00 to Sheltie Rescue of Utah. We will list your dog, including a description and one or two photographs, on our Available Dogs (Other than Shelties) page here on this website and on Petfinder. We will use our experience screening potential adopters to filter through the calls on your dog. When we have potential adopters that we believe will make a great adopting family for your dog, we will provide you with their contact information. Until the adoption is complete, your dog will remain in your household.

You'll talk with the potential adopters. You'll decide whether or not they sound like a good match for your dog. If the potential adopters sound good to you, you'll set up a visit so that the potential adopters can meet you and your dog. You'll decide who will adopt your dog. Neither Sheltie Rescue of Utah, Inc., nor any of its officers, agents, and volunteers, accept any legal responsibilities or liabilities for your dog or for the adoption.

For more information, please contact us by sending email to FindAHome@SheltieRescueUT.org. Special arrangements can be made with other animal rescue organizations.
