Brandy was a four year old female Sheltie who was tearfully
turned over to Sheltie Rescue of Utah, Inc. by her owner, who was
moving into a home where she was unable to keep her. Brandy is a
very bright girl who was being trained by her owner at Lead Me On
Dog Training School with the goal of competing in the Obedience
ring. She is also a great candidate for Agility training and competition.
Brandy is now the new adopted daughter of a sweet couple in Idaho
who dote on her, take walks with her, take her shopping, and just
adore her. They've even made a little "nanny cap" for
Brandy to wear! Brandy is a very fortunate little Sheltie girl to
have found such a wonderful, loving home.

We called the very small, sweet little girl "Little Maggie". She is, in fact, Teddy's
sister. She came to Sheltie Rescue in a rather
roundabout way and wanted nothing more than to be somebody's special
companion. She gets along well with other dogs and with people (even
though she is appropriately reserved around people to whom she hasn't
been properly introduced). We are delighted that Maggie has found
that perfect home and that she is devoted to her new mom, her human
brother, and her Sheltie sister.

Rikki has found a new home with a very attentive and loving
Mom and Dad, several little (human) girls to call his own
and even a few cats to keep him company! After his original placement,
Rikki managed to get himself lost for a week; after he was recovered,
we decided not to place Rikki for awhile. However, when the right
family came along, there was no doubt. It was time for Rikki to
move on to a home where he would be the one and only canine and
have all the love and attention any Sheltie could hope for. Rikki
has the great fortune of being doted on by an entire family that
is all his own.

Teddy and his sister Maggie originally belonged to a family
that was very sad that their personal situation became too unstable
for them to be certain that they could care properly for their beloved
pets! The family relinquished their 2 Shelties to us to ensure the
dogs' future stability and continued health. (What loving, caring
people!)
Teddy is very playful, gets along well with other dogs, and really
wants to be loved and given lots of attention. He is very striking
in appearance with his uncommon curly coat, and has that typical
Sheltie attitude of being reservedbut not shy. He has
been placed with a wonderful family who will give him the love and
affection that he craves and deserves.
