Ginger on the left and Daisy on the right are ten year old sisters who moved from Texas to Utah with their Mom who then found that job hunting in Utah wasn't as good as she had hoped.  Both Ginger and Daisy are overweight and we're pleased to say that these good girls have been doing well on their diets...so well that they now will try to run and play with the younger dogs here.  We love to see that!  Both Ginger and Daisy are currently on antibiotics to prepare them for dentals on Friday (the 13th!).  We're expecting extractions will be needed and we're ready to baby them with canned food and chicken and rice after their dentals.  If you haven't had the gift of a senior canine companion in your life you don't know what you're missing.  Even if you have only a few years --- and sometimes for us it's only a few months --- with these sweet, loving, spirits --- each moment is a gift and we cherish them.  We all get old and have to cross the bridge.  These girls will be waiting to greet their first Mom and whoever is their next Mom --- when their Moms cross over.  Will you be that lucky second Mom or Dad?  For more information on Ginger and Daisy please call Barbara at 801-942-4762.  Please fill out the Application for Adoption at our website www.SheltieRescueUT.org and check out our blog at www.SheltieTales.com.
