Robbie is a flashy 15 1/2 inch blue merle. Robbie is a VERY youthful 8 year old retired show champion looking for a home where he will be spoiled and loved for the rest of his life.  He has tons of coat, beautiful movement, and his mother’s pretty ear set. When he goes outside, Robbie enjoys running and playing. Robbie is in very good health.

Robbie LOVES to show in the show ring.  If you have any interest in becoming a junior handler, Robbie may be a great dog for you to consider.

Like a typical Sheltie, he will be very reserved when he first meets you.  But once he gets to know you he loves to cuddle and sit in your lap. He does like toys, but he tends to EAT small furry ones. He should only be allowed toys with supervision and only larger ones.  Eating small toys can cause a dog to choke to death or cost you both a surgery that is pretty expensive.  Robbie also likes cow hooves to chew. He does not fetch balls. Robbie is also bark-softened.

Robbie had a dental done at the veterinary clinic this past spring. Robbie is house-trained but may need some adjustment to your schedule which is very likely different from his current schedule.

Robbie gets along with cats just fine.  He does get along with other dogs but like any two people, personality may be an important factor to check out if there's already a male dog who is part of your family.

Robbie had some very exciting wins on his way to his championship. He won three majors in all, and a Best of Breed over specials, and Herding group three in Blackfoot, Idaho in June 2009. He finished the next weekend with two points under judge Robert Moore.
