Lady's dream home would allow her to be with her people almost all the time.  She loves to cuddle and she'll certainly want to sleep in bed with you.  At first, though, she'll be reserved and a little shy and anxious.  When you take her out to Go Potty, a command she knows very well, you MUST stay outside with her and give her that command several times.  Under these conditions, Lady is a dream Sheltie who gets along with other dogs very nicely.  She likes to play.  However, if you send her outside by herself or if she's anxious about going outside and being there, she might not go potty.  In her previous home this is what happened.  The end result was that she had accidents in the house which is why she was relinquished.  For the first several days here we had no accidents in the house with Lady.  Today has been especially busy and stressful.  Lady was doing so well that I didn't pay as close attention to her pottying as I normally do.  The end result is that she's had a couple of accidents today.  We are crating her to help her learn the part of the house training that she might not quite get.  Lady actually does very well in a crate.  It doesn't spook her.  Instead she seems pretty comfortable in her crate.
The adoption fee for Lady is $375.00.  For more information about Lady or to fill out an Application for Adoption please visit us at www.SheltieRescueUT.org.  You can also visit us at our blog where we have additional photos and video, www.SheltieTales.com.
