Big Buddy is probably the world's most mellow, loving, cuddly, adorably handsome oversized Sheltie-boy you will EVER meet.  I can't say enough great things about him because he's a total package.  As you probably guessed, Big Buddy is not perfect --- he does not do well with cats.  Your cats will not be happy to have him in the house.  But Buddy is a cuddly companion, great with children, happy to meet people, very well trained and behaves beautifully in a home.  Big Buddy was picked up as a stray and held for a long time in Lindon, UT because he was obviously such a great dog that someone had put a lot of training time into and a lot of love --- adjusts readily to his environment --- that the shelter was sure someone would be looking for him.  Strangely nobody came looking for this wonderful Sheltie-boy.  Now when I say Big Buddy is oversized --- he is seriously oversized.  He is overweight at 60lbs and on a diet (he used to weigh even more!).  Big Buddy's normal, healthy weight will be somewhere around 50lbs --- so he is and will be a big Sheltie-boy even when he's lost his excess weight.
If you'd like more information on Big Buddy or if you'd like to fill out an Application for Adoption please go to http://SheltieRescueUT.org and register and fill out the Application for Adoption.  Please feel free to call us at 801-942-4762.
The adoption fee for this absolute gem of a Sheltie-boy is $150.00.
