Simone, along with Ritzy, was in a puppy mill that was shut down by Uintah County and came to Sheltie Rescue in November, 2006, very frightened. When we had them checked out at Cottonwood Animal Hospital, we learned that (in addition to needing dentals and spays) they both had inguinal hernias that needed repair. Although the surgery was difficult, Simone healed quickly and is now learning how sweet life can be when you're loved.
Simone is a very small, healthy six year old little girl who still has some difficulties learning to trust men. She will approach us if we're sitting and even ask to be petted by pawing at us. She's probably going to need a nice calm household. Simone has no problems with the other Shelties in the house, but has only recently started to play with any of them. She will do best in an adult home.
Simone's adoption donation is $75.00.
