Dolly is an extremely smart, loving, friendly but relatively untrained petite (small boned and small sized) Sheltie-girl who may have some Border Collie in her.  We're not quite sure yet if Dolly is a bi-black Sheltie (black and white with markings similar to a Border Collie) or if she's got some Border Collie mixed in.  We are in agreement that she's mostly Sheltie.  We think she'd be great in a home with training experience that's interested in doing some performance training like agility or flyball.  Her small size will mean that she'll be fast.  Taking her to training class will help her to bond with you and will teach her some skills that she doesn't have right now...like not jumping up and into the kitchen sink!  Obviously this girl must have a yard with a great fence around it!  Also, if you take her to a training class you're bound to be the top team in the class and that should feel pretty good too!  Right now we're estimating her age at about two years but we're still getting some information on Dolly and we might have more definitive information on her birth date in the near future.

Dolly came to us because her owner became suddenly very sick and is currently, we believe, hospitalized and has been hospitalized for at least a month or more
During this time Dolly was in the Enoch City Shelter until we discovered her.
If you'd like more information about Dolly or are interested in adopting her please call Barbara at 801-942-4762.  You can also visit our website at www.SheltieRescueUT.org and our blog at SheltieTales.com.  The adoption fee for Dolly has not been set yet.
