Duke is a very large Sheltie with a very sensitive heart. He's gentle, not very vocal at all, and just wants somebody to love and to love him. BUT...that somebody has also got to love his sort-of-sister, Jazzie, that he's been living with all their lives together. Duke and Jazzie are both about 4 years of age and you couldn't ask for a more intelligent, loving, and sweet pair of kids. Duke is the more confident one of this pair and he loves it when you talk to him...he cocks his head to the right and then to the left listening very carefully to the words you say. He so very much wants to communicate. Duke would make a great therapy dog as would Jazzie. Jazzie, as a therapy dog has the added advantage of being small --- they're kind of a Mutt and Jeff sort of a pair but much more cuddly and loving. We'll try to get some video of them up.

Duke's companion, Jazzie has found her forever home with someone who's also becoming one of our Sheltie Rescue volunteers...yeah!!!  So now we just need someone who'd love to have a really smart, loving, gentle, and mellow Sheltie boy in their life.  Duke deserves a loving home where he'll be cherished and spoiled.

The adoption fee for Duke is $225.00.
