Sheltie Rescue of Utah has a little imp of an 11 year old Miniature Schnauzer girl to place because she came with an 11 year old Sheltie brother named Alex. The two of them have grown up together and are unhappy when they're separated. Missy and Alex's Mom gave them up when her carefully made plans for them to go to a family member were dashed by a terrible tragedy. These two little old kids were well loved. Missy is a bit vocal but not terribly so. Alex is quieter even though he's a Sheltie! Missy must be with her Mom or Dad as much as possible, according to Missy's rules of life. These two are very smart and catch on quickly.
In the past, Missy had some bladder stones --- as common in dogs as it is in humans, and was put on a special diet. She needs to be evalutated to see whether or not she needs that special attention to diet still or not. Alex needs some medical attention --- a dental, he's underweight, and both of them should have a senior wellness blood panel just to see how they're doing.
The adoption fee for Missy is $75.00 but our most important goal with these two is to see them go together and, as with all our dogs, see them in a home where they'll be loved and nurtured in their seniorhood.
