One Year Old Sheltie-Boy - Loves to Love Everyone & Play - Will Keep You Busy

Buddy is a one year old Sheltie who appears to have had his coat shaved at some point not long before he came to us at the end of September.  He was owned by a retired couple who we believe got him as a puppy and just felt he was too active for their lifestyle.  Buddy is very good with other dogs.  He wants to play and will turn away from any dog that is unfriendly.  He should never live in a situation with a dog who is unfriendly towards him --- this would have a pretty negative impact on this very happy and generally easy going Sheltie.  Buddy also is not suited to an environment wihere people do a lot of yelling.  Most dogs don't like this.  Buddy has a great personality but yelling and mean-spirited behavior would undermine his very sweet and gentle spirit.  Buddy is also good with our cat though he really wants her to play with him.  Buddy is easy to train and fun to train and would be a great partner for anyone interested in going to training classes, from which he would benefit greatly.  Buddy is house trained and has some basic training but he's so smart he will have YOU wrapped around his paws in no time.  If you're interested in more information on Buddy please contact us at http://SheltieRescueUT.org and fill out our Application for Adoption.  Feel free to call us at 801-942-4762.
