Cargo is a very playful Sheltie-boy who was shown in the ring and did very well until he had his hips checked out.  It was discovered that he has a mild dysplasia in one of his hips and that ended his show career --- even though he enjoyed traveling, meeting people and their dogs, and showing off his "stuff" in the ring.  Cargo is now looking for his forever home with a family that will appreciate his breeding --- which means that Cargo's Mom and Dad were selected to be bred based on excellent health histories, outstanding temperament, and wonderful Sheltie characteristics.  Cargo is a very special Sheltie-boy, outstanding in many ways, and not just the haphazard result of two Sheltie owners breeding their pet Shelties (regardless of their health and regardless of their personalities) in the hope of making a buck.  Cargo has a mellow temperament and is a loyal and outgoing boy who will happily cuddle and snuggle once he gets to know you.  If you're interested in more information on Cargo or are interested in adopting him please go to http://SheltieRescueUT.org and register and fill out our Application for Adoption.  You can also call us at 801-942-4762. 
Cargo's Mom is a well known and very ethical local Sheltie breeder who has asked Sheltie Rescue to help place him in an outstanding home.  Cargo's adoption fee will be donated to Sheltie Rescue to help our rescued Shelties.  Cargo's adoption fee is $600.00
