Layla was found running down the road in a rain storm in the Kamus area and was rescued by two good samaritans who knew that the road was no place for a dog. Layla is estimated to be between 1 1/2 to 2 years of age. She's full of energy but also wants to please you. Someone was harsh with her and she doesn't respond well to yelling. Harsh behaviors never get you what you want so go very positive.
Layla is very well house trained and has also been taught to SIT and DOWN. She doesn't know HERE or COME which is the most important, life-saving command every dog should know. Layla's a smart girl and wants to learn about everything. She LOVES to cuddle. Someone has spoiled her with some human food so she needs to learn not to beg. But she's so smart and so good that with a good human to train her she will make a great Sheltie companion.
