Animal Success Stories
Most of the dogs whom we rescue find new forever homes where they live happily ever after. These are our success stories, and we'd like to share them with you. For a variety of reasons, we can't add a photo and story about every dog whom we've ever rescued and placed with a new family, but many of their stories are here.

Max
Max was a 4½ year old when he came to us in very early 2007. He was a very healthy, purebred tri-color Sheltie. After his family moved to a smaller house and had a baby, they realized that Max wasn't getting the attention that he was used to having and needed. Max loves the family's new daughter, but isn't as gentle as she needed him to be, so she ran from him...and of course this herding dog was quite happy to herd her around.
Max's sweet face caught the attention of an Episcopal minister in St. George, UT, who is engaged to be married to a gentleman who previously adopted another Sheltie, Bisou, from us. Max is very happily settled in with his new Mom and has become very close friends with his future Sheltie-sister — both of whom are always allowed indoors...and on the furniture! Once more, a grand happy ending!!
Missy
Missy, a Miniature Schnauzer, came to us as a companion to Alex, a sweet Sheltie. After they were here awhile, it became apparent that they were no longer so attached to each other. When a call came from a nearby home that had a senior terrier in mourning over the loss of its mate, we brought Missy over to meet them. We're very pleased to say that Missy, Kailee, and Mom Gail are doing beautifully together.
