Evie came to Sheltie Rescue a very scared and frightened little girl who'd been purchased so that she could be bred, puppies sold, and money earned for dental care. In her past home, Evie wouldn't come out from under the bed, so a leash was kept on her all the time. She barely ate anything and wouldn't go outside to go potty because she was too afraid. In Evie's new home with Judi and Kjell Christophersen, she's queen of the castle! Workmen doing some remodeling work at her home have to stop their work when it's time for Evie to go potty, so that there's no noise to distract the queen from attending to her personal needs. Evie couldn't have found a better Mom in Judi, who dotes on Evie and spoils her.
